The 2010 Cadillac SRX is reborn, and it’s better than ever!
It’s fresh, it’s compelling, and it’s calling your name. The all-new 2010 Cadillac SRX is redesigned and more efficient while exuding the luxury you’ve come to expect from Cadillac. With new technologies, enhanced performance and eye-catching features inside and out, the 2010 SRX will take the road with confidence and sophistication.
When you’re ready, the SRX gives the choice of two new high-tech six-cylinder engines: A 3.0-liter or a 2.8-liter Turbo V6. Both engines utilize technology that helps produce the strong performance usually associated with bigger engines. Handling and stability are optimized in all driving conditions thanks to an available all-wheel-drive system.
The standard 3.0-liter DOHC direct-injected V6 turns out 265 hp and 223 lb/ft of torque while the turbocharged 2.8-liter DOHC V6 available later this year will produce 300 hp and 295 lb/ft of torque. Fuel economy for the SRX is expected to be in the mid-20s on the highway.
Sitting on a wheelbase of 110.5 inches, the SRX measures 190.2 inches in length and 75.1 inches wide. Riding on this wide track, the SRX is able to comfortably seat five while still maintaining the nimble, precise handling you’d expect from Cadillac. And the cargo capacity is perfect for the on-the-go lifestyle with 29.2 cubic feet behind the second row, and a generous 61 cubic feet behind the first row.
The exterior of the 2010 SRX is dramatic, leaving you with the impression that it's moving even while it is standing still. The face of the SRX is clearly the eye-catching grille flanked by the signature vertical headlamps. Adding to the sporty feel of the crossover is the bold accent line across the body side and the integrated spoiler on the rear edge of the roof. Eighteen-inch wheels are standard with 20-inch wheels available.
Inside, the 2010 Cadillac SRX oozes sophistication and luxury. You’ll find the highest quality materials and superior craftsmanship setting the bar for all other luxury crossovers. The seats are covered in leather and feature driver and passenger heating, eight-way adjustability and power-adjustable lumbar support. The delicately placed center stack comfortably places audio and climate controls in arms reach, while Cadillac’s intuitive navigation system rests slightly above. Other fine details include the available illuminating front door sill plates with Cadillac script logos, as well as the hand-cut-and-sewn coverings on the instrument panel.
The SRX features advanced electronics such as the available “popup” navigation screen with 3D imaging, headlamps that turn when the steering wheel turns, a power liftgate, a hard disc for music storage and a rear entertainment system.
SRX’s enhanced safety features are designed to protect occupants before, during and after a crash. Among the standard safety features are head-curtain side airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, front seatbelts with pretensioners, rollover mitigation sensors and OnStar.
